Bengaluru, Karnataka’s breakthrough rapper & songwriter Hanumankind, born Sooraj Cherukat, has returned with a new single. Titled “Big Dawgs”, the single is produced by the “No Hook” producer King Kalmi and arrives via the coveted record label Def Jam Recordings India.
Notably, “Big Dawgs” marks HMK’s first solo single this year. Last year, the “Damnson” rapper linked up with Yashraj and Chaar Diwaari on the “Ladke Convict” two-pack EP and another Def Jam single “Ayyayyo” alongside Parimal Shais and MC Couper.

For Def Jam Recordings India, “Big Dawgs” serves as the second massive single from the Southside this summer.
Last month, the Mumbai-based label joined forces with southern rapstars Neeraj ‘NJ’ Madhav, Baby Jean and Dabzee for the “Ballaatha Jaathi” single. The collaboration is set to feature on Madhav’s forthcoming debut album “Padakkuthira”.
