Drake & 21 Savage’s debut collaborative effort ‘Her Loss’ drops shortly. Culture Haze has confirmed that the highly anticipated album was in fact recorded at the iconic hip-hop producer DJ Khaled’s home. Khaled has delivered some of the biggest records in modern hip-hop history including ‘KHALED KHALED’, ‘Father of Asahd’ and most recently, ‘GOD DID’ from his $25.9 Million Miami Beach Front House.
In an IG story earlier today, Drake gave Khaled his flowers for studio time. “Thank you to my family for letting us finish this album in your home. One family DJ Khaled” Drake wrote.
While it’s a first for Drake and 21 Savage to have a whole record together, Drizzy and Khaled have been day one collaborators. As per many, the two hip-hop artists have built the ‘Young Money’ legacy along with Weezy F. Baby A.k.a. Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj and more.
Drake & 21 Savage also announced the tracklist earlier today. While the production and features credits aren’t out yet, it won’t be a surprise if Noah “40” Shebib – Drake’s longtime collaborator – is heavily invested into the album through his production. Earlier this week, ‘Her Loss’ was delayed after Drake confirmed that “40” had contracted the fatal coronavirus and couldn’t mix and master the record as scheduled because of it.
Drake and 21 Savage released the tracklist for ‘Her Loss’ too. The much-awaited LP will have 16 fresh tracks in total. The record is slated to begin with ‘Rich Flex’, and will have ‘Circo Loco’, ‘I Guess It’s F*** Me’, ‘Backoutsideboyz’, ‘Hours in Silence’ and more.
