Ever since Houston’s legendary rapper and record producer Travis Scott revealed that his forthcoming rap album “Utopia” will release alongside an exclusive motion picture “Circus Maximus”, Hip-Hop across the world has been asking a lot of questions about his directorial debut.
As per reports, Travis Scott has recruited some of the finest filmmakers across the world for his debut film. With AMC listing “Circus Maximus” with a runtime of 75 minutes, Scott’s directorial debut has brought together cult cinema filmmakers Harmony Korine, Gaspar Noé, Nicolas Winding Refn, Valdimar Jóhannsson, and music-video maestro Kahlil Joseph.
While Scott is yet to reveal any further details about “Circus Maximus”, AMC asserts that the “Astroworld” rapper’s “film is a surreal and psychedelic journey, uniting a collective of visionary filmmakers from around the world in a kaleidoscopic exploration of human experience and the power of soundscapes.”
“Prepare to enter “CIRCUS MAXIMUS” as Travis Scott takes his audience on a mind-bending visual odyssey across the globe, woven together by the speaker rattling sounds of his highly anticipated upcoming album “UTOPIA.”,”AMC further noted on its website.
For now, “Circus Maximus” will be premiered in select theatres across the U.S. on four dates: July 27, July 30th, August 1 and 2nd. However, AMC suggests that fans must continue to check back “in case more dates or locations are added.”

As reported earlier, “Utopia” is Travis Scott’s fourth forthcoming rap album. Earlier today, Scott shared one of the five exclusive artworks shot by South African photographer Pieter Hugo.
Most recently, Travis Scott released the BNYX and Boi-1Da produced lead single ‘K-Pop’. Featuring Bad Bunny and The Weeknd, the single arrived just ahead of his headlining set at Rolling Loud Miami.
