Hip-Hop Billionaire Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Turns 52

The legendary Harlem-born emcee, lyricist and hip-hop entrepreneur Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, A.k.a. Puff Daddy, A.k.a. P. Diddy turns 52 today. While Diddy released his debut album ‘No Way Out’ in 1997, the rapper-turned-entrepreneur has also cultivated and produced hip-hop icons such as the Notorious B.I.G. and Mary J. Blige through Bad Boy Records.

Earlier this year, Diddy received the Lifetime Achievement Award presented by BET Hip-hop Awards. Diddy is one of just 22 receivers of the prestigious honour including Queen Latifah, his protege Mary J. Blige, Diana Ross, Whitney Houston and Samuel L. Jackson among others.

Some of his most iconic records include the debut ‘No Way Out’ (1997), ‘The Saga Continues…’ by P. Diddy & the Family (2001), ‘Forever’ (1999) and ‘Press Play’ (2006).

Diddy has several businesses to his name which helped elevate his stature to a billionaire. Some of them include the media entertainment company ‘REVOLT’, Cîroc Ultra Premium & Deleón Tequila, lifestyle beverage company ‘AquaHydrate’ and the record label ‘Bad Boy Records’.
