Hit-Boy & Offset Team Up For New Single

California-based emcee and record producer Hit-Boy has teamed up with the former Migos’ rapper Offset for a collaborative effort. The King’s Disease record producer took to Instagram to confirm that a new rap record with Offset is slated to release on January 13th.

Notably, this would be the first record by Offset ever since the death of his Migos partner Takeoff. In November last year, the ‘How Did I Get Here?’ rapper had pushed back his long-awaited LP amidst the ill-fated gunning down of his cousin in Houston.

Offset’s upcoming record will be a follow-up to his star-studded solo debut outside of Migos. Titled ‘Father of 4’, the 16-track LP featured guest appearances by J. Cole, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Cardi B, Quavo, Gucci Mane, Gunna and Cee Lo Green and was released on February 22nd 2019. With Southside & Metro Boomin on production, the album had debuted at no. 4 on the Billboard 200 Chart that year.

Furthermore, Hit-Boy – real name Chauncey Alexander Hollis Jr. – is behind some of the most influential records including a four-LP collaborative effort with Nas and is known across the globe for leading an affecting production on N***** In Paris by Jay-Z and Kanye West, Racks In The Middle by Nipsey Hussle & Roddy Ricch, Clique by G.O.O.D Music labelmates Jay-Z, Kanye West & Bug Sean and more. Most recently, Hit-Boy produced the lead single of Gully Gang bossman Divine’s third LP Gunehgar.

Look out for Hit-Boy & Offset’s debut collaborative effort this Friday.
