Indian emcee, songwriter & record producer Badshah, born Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, has premiered the third visual treatment from his trailblazing LP “Ek Tha Raja”. Titled “Soulmate”, the massive music video features Indian pop singer Arijit Singh and captures his iconic live set in Bangkok, Thailand.
Reportedly, Badshah joined Arijit for a shocking live set and it marked the artists’ sprawling live debut after linking up on the rapper’s 3rd studio album. For the hard-hitting emcee, “Soulmate” marks the third visual treatment from “Ek Tha Raja”.
Last month, Badshah & Punjabi emcee and this year’s Juno Fan Choice Awardee Karan Aujla joined forces for the epic “God Damn” cut. It was preceded by “Daaku” filmed in Moscow, Russia. Check out the latest music video below if you haven’t yet.
Badshah’s massive 16-track join features guest verses by various top-tier artists including Aujla, Raftaar, Kr$na, “Mehfeel” rapper MC Stan on “Drinks On Me”, Indian actor & singer Nora Fatehi, Dino James & Ikka, Morocco’s Draganov and Delhi’s rap royalties Seedhe Maut.
In other news, Punjabi emcee AP Dhillon is gearing up for his Coachella Debut.
The rapper, who recently linked up with British Grime MVP Stormzy on the “Problems Over Peace” single, is set to perform his historic debut live set this Sunday and will become the second Indian Punjabi artist to ever perform at the festival.
