‘IICONIC’ Indian Emcee King Announces New Music Inspired By Debut Album ‘The Carnival’

Indian Hip-Hop and Pop superstar King, born Arpan Kumar Chandel, has announced new music this year. The “IICONIC” rapper and singer, who is gearing up for at least 3 albums this year including a rock album, has confirmed that new music “MM” is in the works.

While King is yet to reveal any further details about his forthcoming music, which could be an “EP, an album or a song”, the singer has hinted that it’ll be reminiscent of his earliest bodies of work such as his sprawling debut album “The Carnival”.

King further posted a slew of photographs on Instagram to announce new music. Check them out below.

Notably, King’s announcement arrives just ahead of joining forces with East Coast Hip-Hop superstar A$ap Ferg at this year’s VH1 Supersonic in Pune.

Further, if King’s announcement leads to a full-length studio album, which does not seem far-fetched, it will serve as the follow-up to his massive album “New Life” released last year.

Premiered on October 18th, the star-studded LP features guest appearances by pop superstar Julia Michaels, cult rap figure Gucci Mane and Indian pop singer Nikita Gandhi.

Look out for King’s forthcoming music this year.
