Breaking: Indian Hip-Hop Pioneer Badshah Returns With Huge New Single ‘Gone Girl’ Featuring Payal Dev, Begins ‘Badworld’ LP Rollout

Indian Hip-Hop superstar Badshah, born Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, has returned with a huge new rap record. Titled “Gone Girl”, the hard-hitting track serves as the lead single from Badshah’s long-awaited rap album “Badworld”.

Notably, Badshah dropped an affecting preview of “Gone Girl” just ahead of its official release at midnight. The legendary emcee, record producer and songwriter, who once led Indian Hip-Hop’s unprecedented rise through Mafia Mundeer, was seen performing an exclusive snippet of the self-produced single.

For many, “Gone Girl” marks Badshah’s slight return to classic rap bangers. Featuring an incendiary hook from pop singer Payal Dev, the track is reminiscent of Badshah’s minimalist yet provocative rap sound which dominated India’s soundscape throughout the last decade.

“Gone Girl” paves the way for a massive rap LP by Badshah.

Upon its release, the record will serve as the follow-up to the hard-hitting rapper’s “3:00 AM Sessions” EP which featured top-selling rap records including “Players” featuring Punjabi Hip-Hop superstar Karan Aujla & pop singer Devika Badyal and “Sanak” featuring Lakhwinder Wadali.

“Gone Girl” arrives alongside a massive visual treatment. Check it out below.

Look out for the ‘Badworld’ LP by Badshah this year.
