Indian Hip-Hop and Pop superstar King, real name Arpan Kumar Chandel, is finally gearing up for his forthcoming fourth album “New Life”. The emcee, who first announced the record in June this year, has further revealed the alleged artwork of the album and its lead single “Crown”.
While King is yet to reveal the album’s official release date, “Pablo” has confirmed that the record’s lead single is slated to drop on August 23, 2023.
However, fans speculate that King might reveal further details about “New Life” upon the lead single’s release. “You will get all the answers,” King said in a message alongside the artwork.

Most recently, King released the evocative three-track EP “Shayad Woh Sune”. Traversing three pop records – “Laapta”, “Humse” and “Teri Ho Na Saki”, the EP paved the way for unprecedented anticipation for King’s forthcoming record.
Upon its release, “New Life” will serve as the follow-up to King’s massive studio album “Champagne Talk”.
Notably, the album amassed over 100 million Spotify streams within just two months of its official release and surpassed a billion streams in March this year. Last year, the ‘Pablo’ of Indian Hip-Hop was streamed over 300 million times on Spotify alone.
King’s announcement about his forthcoming full-length record’s lead single arrives amidst the abrupt “postponement” of the “Champagne Talk World Tour” due to “visa delays for the performing crew”.
“Unfortunately, due to Visa Delays for an important set of performing crew, we are having to postpone my upcoming Champagne Talk World Tour to a later date,” King announced on Friday.
The legendary emcee, who continues to raze through global music, further apologised to his fans across the U.S., the U.K. and Canada and assured a later date for the global tour.
Originally slated to begin in London on September 1, King enlisted Birmingham, New York, Silver Spring, Toronto, Houston, Chicago, Atlanta, Vancouver and Edmonton, San Francisco, Los Angeles and more cities for the massive global tour.
Look out for the “Crown” single and “New Life” album by King.
