Mumbai’s iconic emcee and Indian Hip-Hop superstar Emiway Bantai, real name Bilal Shaikh, has shockingly announced his 4th studio album. The LP, which will witness Bantai’s foray into “Lofi” and “Melodic” rap music, is slated to drop in April with its rollout slated to begin as early as this week.

Bantai is gearing up for another “commercial” rap single too, the rapper has confirmed through Instagram.

While the Mumbai-based emcee is yet to reveal any further details, Bantai’s forthcoming album is set to be a massive departure from his gruff lyricism and distinct choppa flow prevalent across his last studio album “King of The Streets.”

Most recently, Bantai premiered the “W” drill single. Upon its release, it served as the follow-up to his fierce rap record “Rehem” which was an alleged diss against Kr$na.

For Bantai, the incendiary single arrives amidst a slew of forthcoming major collaborations. In October, legendary rapper and record producer Yo Yo Honey Singh confirmed a guest feature by Bantai on “International Villager 2” LP arriving next year.

Recently, Bantai & Honey Singh linked up on “Good Boy”.

However, the biggest Bantai record for now remains his debut collaborative effort with Lazarus. Bantai and Hip-Hop superproducer Lazarus continue to tease “Detroit to Antophill” EP featuring legendary Detroit emcee Swifty McVay and Bad Meets Evil affiliate Royce Da 5’9″.

Look out for Emiway Bantai’s 4th studio album in April.
