Kid Cudi Shuts Off Retirement, Announces New Album

Kid Cudi – A.k.a. Scott Mescudi – has changed his plans about retirement. After asserting that ‘Entergalactic’ will be his last studio album and that he’s “done with Kid Cudi”, the ‘Day ‘n’ Nite’ rapper has forfeited such plans for the time being.

“The Kid Cudi stuff, I think I want to put it on the back burner and chill out with that. I think, I want to be done with it. I think, closing the chapter on Kid Cudi,” he said. “…But, as far as getting in the studio and working on an album, and then going and touring it, I just don’t have it in me. I don’t have the desire. I have so many other things I want to invest my time into,” the rapper had revealed during the Zane Lowe interview.

However, Cudi has now assured his fans that he will release “atleast one more album”.

“Im doin 1 more album and then im done w my deal and not sure what ima do after that but yea, 1 more. Wont be next year. Keep u posted.” Cudi tweeted.

The rapper further said that the new project is for his “fans that have been ridin w me (Cudi) for so long.”

Cudi had released his eight studio album ‘ENTERGALACTIC’ on September 30th, 2022. Released alongside its visual adaptation into a Netflix animated special, the 15-track record featured guest appearances by 2 Chainz, Ty Dolla $ign, Don Toliver, Steve Aoki and more.
