King, Gully Gang, Raga, Shia & More Shut Down Delhi

Three of India’s biggest Hip-Hop acts Raga, Gully Gang and King shut down Delhi on Saturday. Performing their finest sounds in front of a massive crowd, they collectively elevated the Hip-Hop scene in one night.

The first day of the ‘Simba Uproar Festival 2022’ kicked off with the opening act by Shia and her long-time collaborator & record producer Zero Chill – who performed their breakthrough hits such as ‘Boon’ and ‘Metamorphosis’ – Bonehead and DJ Kave.

The back-to-back performances by the young underground emcees and DJs set the stage for a massive performance by Raga. The Delhi-bred rapper – who has released ‘Sheher’ & ‘Badan’ with the iconic Def Jam Recordings India record label – joined forces with Delhi’s ferocious Hip-Hop A team Bharg & Rawal.

Raga’s performance was followed by Gully Gang’s emcees and record producers MC Altaf, D’Evil, Shah Rule, Tsumyoki, Riar Saab, DJ Proof and Karan Kanchan. Gully Gang’s bossman Divine released his third LP ‘Gunehgar’ earlier this month. Notably, Karan Kanchan produced ‘Baazigar’ featuring Armani White, ‘Sitara’ featuring Jonita Gandhi, ‘Bornfire’ featuring Russ and ‘Blessings’ featuring Noizy on the album.

The ‘Champagne Talk’ emcee and Pop/R&B superstar King pulled up at DLF Promenade to headline the mega-concert. The former squad boss at MTV Hustle’s second season performed some of his biggest career hits including the recently released ‘Pablo’, ‘Oops’ and ‘Maan Meri Jaan’ from this sophomore LP and more.
