Ahead of his long-awaited debut Indian rap album “Karam”, record producer Kshmr, born Niles Hollowell-Dhar, has announced the third huge single from the forthcoming LP.
The legendary producer, who has released two flagrant lead singles – “Haath Varthi” featuring MC Stan and superproducer Phenom & “Bhussi” featuring Seedhe Maut and Karan Kanchan, has now confirmed that his next single “Legacy” featuring Raftaar drops this Friday.
Earlier this month, KSHMR announced that “Legacy” will be followed by the global hitmaker himself revealing the album release date and dropping the record right after that. The star-studded single announcement has led to unprecedented anticipation for perhaps the biggest Indian Hip-Hop album this year.

“Legacy” arrives through Mass Appeal India and will be the major label’s another massive rap release this year. Most recently, AP Dhillon premiered two rap records with the label – “Lifestyle” and “Scars”. Further, Mass Appeal India’s signed rapper and songwriter Nazz premiered his sophomore single with the label “Kya Boltay?”.
In May this year, KSHMR revealed that Raftaar is one of the earliest emcees who introduced him to Indian rap music alongside Kr$na and Indian Hip-Hop royalty Divine in an exclusive interview.
“We had ‘Gully Boy’ playing in some theatres in the States and I went to go see it not expecting much. However, I was just blown away. So, I hit up my people in India, and I was just curious like, “Yo, what is going on with this Hip-hop scene?”… and they introduced me to the different players in the game. Starting with Divine, Raftaar, Kr$na and all these guys who just got me really excited as a lover of Hip-Hop,” KSHMR said at the time.
With the single on its way this Friday, KSHMR nears the release of his star-studded album “Karam”. Besides MC Stan, Seedhe Maut, Phenom, Karan Kanchan and Raftaar now, Yashraj, Hanumankind, The MVMNT’s Yungsta, Raja Kumari, Stunnah and more rap artists are slated to appear on KSHMR’s forthcoming album too.
