Last year, NH7 Weekender recruited Dreamville’s iconic emcee J.I.D. to headline the concluding day of the 3-day festival. In fact, the “Ma Boy” and “Surround Sound” rapper was joined by numerous Hip-Hop heavyweights at the time including India’s rap royalty Kr$na, record producer Sez on The Beat, Seedhe Maut, Hanumankind, Rawal, Yashraj, and MC Altaf.
Besides M.I.A., Canadian Women Hip-Hop duo Cartel Madras will be debuting at the major festival too. The iconic rap group, which dropped its riveting Hip-Hop LP “The Serpent & the Tiger”, is behind cult rap records including “Glossy” alongside Southern India‘s major label producer Parimal Shais, “Dawood Ibrahim”, “Lil Pump Type Beat” and more.
