Legendary emcee, record producer & entrepreneur Eminem, born Marshall Bruce Mathers III, has announced the lead single from his forthcoming studio album. Titled “Houdini”, the single is set to release this Friday and will serve as the lead single from Em’s 12th studio album “The Death of Slimshady (COUP DE GRÂCE)”.
The announcement arrives alongside a humorous conversation between Eminem & magician David Blaine. During a brief FaceTime, Em asks Blaine to “help him out with something”.
Later, the rapper tells Blaine that he will make his historic rap career “disappear” for his last trick.
“Well for my last trick, I’m going to make my career disappear,” Em tells Blaine. Watch the humorous exchange between Eminem & David Blaine below.

The latest visual trailer was preceded by Eminem’s evocative, and humourous, short film through which the “Lose Yourself” emcee announced his forthcoming project.
The trailer captures a “Detroit Murder Files” host reporting on the death of Slime Shady – Eminem’s alter ego debuted by the Academy Award winning rapper on 1997’s “Slim Shady EP” and 1999’s “The Slim Shady LP”.
“Through his complex and oft-criticized, tongue-twisting rhymes, the anti-hero known as Slim Shady has had no shortage of enemies,” the host says.
“The same rude lyrics and controversial antics may have ultimately led to his demise. Join me as we recreate the events that led to the murder of Slim Shady.“
