Legendary Punjabi emcee, rapper and record producer Yo Yo Honey Singh has finally released his highly anticipated rap record “Kalaastar”. The hard-hitting single, which serves as the sequel to Honey Singh’s historic rap record “Desi Kalakaar”, is produced and penned down by Rony Ajnali & Gill Machhrai and has broken the internet beyond expectations.
Upon its premier yesterday, “Kalaastar” was watched for well-over 20 million times within just 7 hours and continues to raze through YouTube nearing 50 million views on the platform alone.
The epic “Kalaastar” music video, directed by Dutch filmmaker Jonas Beck featuring Indian Hindi cinema’s actress Sonakshi Sinha, captures Honey Singh’s immense longevity and relevance in rap music decades into his sprawling rap career.

Interestingly, “Kalaastar” is yet to surface on Spotify and is available for streaming on YouTube and Apple Music.
Notably, “Kalaastar” is slated to appear on West Delhi‘s iconic rapper and singer’s highly anticipated album “Honey 3.0” and will join at least six internet-breaking rap records released by Honey Singh this year.
In the lead upto the LP, Yo Yo has premiered a slew of commercially viable singles including “Savage”, “Kuley Kuley”, “Let’s Get It Party”, “Tujh Pe Pyaar”, “Naagan” and “Soul”.
Further, the former Mafia Mundeer-affiliate is gearing up for “International Villager 2” later this year. Last week, Indian rap superstar Emiway Bantai confirmed his guest verse on Honey Singh’s forthcoming rap LP.
