The historical Madame Tussauds Wax Museum has unveiled its latest wax figure. Sporting Cartier, Nike Air Force 1s and iced-out Van Cleef jewellery, Champagne Papi – popularly known as Drake – finds residence at Tussaud’s oldest museum alongside Beyoncé, Rihanna, Leonardo DiCaprio, Angelina Jolie and more.
Notably, the ‘Her Loss’ rapper’s outfit is a rip-off of his surprise appearance at Wireless Festival London in 2021. Besides the Cartier and Air Force 1s, Drake’s wax figure sports a camouflage shirt and matching pants, a bright green puffer jacket, his signature facial hair and the heart-shaved into his hairline.
On September 11th 2021, Drake crashed Future’s headlining set at the Wireless Festival to perform ‘Way Too Sexy’ from his sixth studio album ‘Certified Lover Boy’. Papi further went on to perform ‘Laugh Now, Cry Later’ featuring Lil Durk and ‘Life Is Good’ from Future’s eighth LP ‘High Off Life’.

“Drake has shown his love for London on numerous occasions with his surprise appearance at Wireless Festival being just one example of this,” Tim Waters, general manager at Madame Tussauds London, said in a press release. “With reports that he’s soon to call London home, we wanted to make sure we were able to give him a warm welcome to our streets and show that the love is reciprocated the only way we know how by immortalizing him in our famous attraction.”
“There is no denying that the Canadian rap superstar is a music icon, with countless awards and numerous nominations under his belt, including at this year’s Brit Awards. We know that our guests will be sure to ‘Take Care’ of Drake as he becomes ‘A Keeper’ at Madame Tussauds London.” Waters further said.
