Atlanta-based iconic record producer Metro Boomin’s sophomore solo LP ‘Heroes & Villains’ has debuted at the top spot on Billboard Top 200 album chart. The fifteen-track record features guest appearances by John Legend, Future, Chris Brown, Travis Scott, Don Toliver, 21 Savage, Young Nudy, The Weeknd, A$ap Rocky, Takeoff & Gunna. Executive produced by Boomin, the album clocks in at 48 minutes and serves as the follow-up to ‘Not All Heroes Wear Capes’ LP. It was released on December 2nd 2022.
The album moved over 185,000 copies in its first week and easily managed to secure the top spot. Notably, this isn’t the first time that a Metro Boomin album has reached the number one status on Billboard. The first instalment in the now confirmed trilogy ‘Not All Heroes Wear Capes’ was a twenty-six-track two-disc project released in 2018. That album debuted at the first spot too. His 2020 collaborative album with 21 Savage ‘Savage Mode II’ topped the Billboard 200 as well.
