Delhi’s ferocious emcee Raga is flirting with the classic drill on his latest single. Titled ‘GTA NCR’ or ‘Grand Theft Auto NCR’, the single arrives amidst high anticipation for Raga’s first record this year. While the ‘Ride Slow’ emcee linked up with DG Immortals, Virtual AF and Harjas Harjayi earlier this year, this is Raga’s first solo release this year.
Raga first confirmed the long-awaited record in February this year. While the veteran emcee has established his stature as one of the finest Indian emcees who can drop music at will, the rollout of Wamp-produced ‘GTA NCR’ has been quite gradual. However, the latest record does not disappoint at all.
Delhi-bred Raga is one of India’s top-selling emcees right now. Highly sought after for his ferocious vocal delivery and affecting lyricism, Raga released some of the finest rap records last year including ‘Sheher’ and ‘Badan’ f/ Harjas Harjaayi through the iconic Def Jam Recordings India record label and a star-studded collaborative effort with Seedhe Maut on Ikka’s hard-hitting track ‘Sanki’.
