Indian Rapstar Agsy, born Agrita Dhawan, has announced her latest rap record. Titled “Hip Hop”, the Mother OG has confirmed that her latest, and perhaps the last single from the ‘Rap Goddess’ EP, is slated to drop on May 11th 2023. Notably, the record is produced by Karachi-based Hip-Hop superproducer Jokhay.
While Jokhay has linked up with Pakistan’s iconic Hip-Hop duo Young Stunners for a slew of hard-hitting rap records, this is his debut record production for a woman rapper across the borders.
Most recently, the veteran record producer linked up with Kr$na on “Time Will Tell” EP alongside Talha Anjum, Talhah Yunus and UMAIR. Further, Jokhay assisted with record production on Anjum’s star-studded debut LP “Open Letter” too.
For Agsy, the record arrives amidst consistent hard-hitting releases. Earlier this year, the young emcee teamed up with Bella on “Healer” and dropped marquee rap records including “Be Like That” featuring GD 47 and Shah Rule, “Love Mumble” feat. Harjas Harjaayi and more.
The rapper, who has become a Hip-Hop mainstay and a tall figure for woman emcees in India, shared the exclusive “Hip Hop” artwork on social media. You can check it out here.
