Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Enters the Billionaire Boys Club

Sead ‘Diddy’ Combs has finally attained the billionaire status, Zac O’ Malley Greenburg’s ‘Hip-Hop’s Wealthiest Artists 2022’ list confirms. Diddy is one of just two hip-hop billionaires this year. Jay-Z – A.k.a Hova – still has the top spot on the list.

Diddy’s net worth of $1 Billion is made up through multiple business partnerships with Ciroc Vodka, DeLeon Tequila and self-owned hip-hop media outlet Revolt.

Ye – formerly Kanye West – is down to the third spot in the list after Adidas, Gap and more brands had severed their ties with him earlier this month. Ye claimed that he was worth more than $6 Billion at one point. However, his current net worth stands at $500 Million.

The most surprisingly wealthy hip-hop artist that no one saw coming is Berner. The Taylor Gang Entertainment’s rapper and producer has amassed over $410 Million through his marijuana business ‘Cookies’.

Dr. Dre stays at the fifth spot with $400 Milli. The iconic ‘Still Dre’ artist’s net worth has reduced substantially after hitting a peak in 2014 following the $3 Billion buyout of ‘Beats by Dre’ by Apple Inc.

Jay-Z continues to dominate the status quo through Armand de Brignac Champagne and Rock Nation Entertainment Company among other investments. Hove is worth $1.5 Billion this year.
