Delhi’s hip-hop duo ‘Seedhe Maut’ pulled up at MTV Hustle for a special guest appearance. While the group saw performance by some of the leading rappers contesting for the top position at MTV Hustle 2.0, they performed their hit track ‘Namastute’ on stage.
‘Namastute’ is the opening track off of Seedhe Maut’s second full-length studio album “Na”. It was released on September 9th last year.
Badshah introduced the brash hip-hop duo and talked about the impact that they have left on Delhi’s underground hip-hop scene.
Seedhe Maut has quickly went on to become one of the hottest hip-hop acts in India right now. With a wide-ranging discography that includes ‘Bayaan’, ‘Na’ and ‘Nayaab’, Seedhe Maut were one of the very few underground acts to go on an India tour last year.
The second season of MTV Hustle has Badshah as the leading figure while King, Dino James, EPR and Dee MC are the mentors. While the winner is yet to be announced, few contestants have already received wide spread popularity on social media from Indian hip-hop fans. Contestants such as MC Square, GD 47, Gravity, MC Headshot and Srushti Tawade can be seen trending across Instagram and Twitter.
