Punjabi Hip-Hop superstar the late Sidhu Moosewala has surpassed 900 million Spotify streams this year. The legendary emcee and lyricist behind some of the biggest records in Indian Hip-Hop including ‘295’, Wazir Patar-produced ‘The Last Ride’, ‘So High’, ‘GOAT’, ‘Never Fold’ and more was shot dead by unidentified assailants earlier this year.

Including his streasms across platforms, Culture Haze speculates that the iconic ‘PBX1’ emcee has been listened well-over a billion times this year alone. Moose Wala took to Instagram to share that he has been streamed for 903.7 million times and 46.3 million hours alone.

Moosewala was and continues to be one of the biggest hip-hop artists to emerge from India and has worked with numerous artists for top-notch bangers. Providing a sound that’s affecting and deftly crafted, the emcee rose to global stardom with his music.
