As per an announcement by Brit Asia TV, Steel Banglez has confirmed that his next record will feature the late Sidhu Moosewala next to UK’s Burna Boy. Moosewala was shot dead by unidentified gangsters on 29th May, 2022 in Punjab. Ever since his death, rumours about his posthumous music have been doing the rounds on social media.

UK-based Producer of Punjabi Descent, Steel Banglez next studio album ‘The Playlist’ is available for a pre-save on all leading streaming platforms. The album is slated to release on 19th January, 2023.

Whether his collaboration with Sidhu Moosewala and Burna Boy will feature on the same album remains to be seen. So far, Banglez has released three lead singles from the record – ‘Banglez Ting’ featuring Giggs, ‘Blama’ featuring Tion Wayne and Morrison and ‘Tell Me’ featuring Clean Bandit, Stefflon Don, Unknown T and Wes Nelson. Going by these three singles, the album sure seems star-studded and a feature from Moosewala can not be ruled out.

Moosewala’s studio albums ‘PBX1’ and the stat-studded ‘Moosetape’ were two of the biggest selling records in Indian hip-hop history. With a strong line-up of guest appearances from Divine, Tion Wayne, Stefflon Don, Rajakumari and more, as per many, Moosewala elevated the Indian hip-hop scene like no other.

Banglez and Moosewala collaborated with UK’s Stefflon Don on ‘47’ almost three years ago. The record was a massive hit and had put Moosewala next to the top-selling Punjabi artists. The track had also featured Birmingham-based emcee MIST.
