As the legendary rapper and songwriter Lil Wayne gears up for his forthcoming 14th studio album “Tha Carter VI”, a controversial Page Six report has surfaced online which confirms that the Hip-Hop pioneer was reportedly “pushed away” minutes before he was slated to join 50 Cent at his L.A. Concert.
Reportedly, Wayne, who was in fact a special guest at the concert, later “stormed out” at the alleged disrespect by the tour staff backstage after staying in the arena for almost 20 minutes.
Notably, this led to further chaos amidst a concert mired by faulty microphones which later led to Fiddy accidentally hurling one of the mics at an ardent fan. Wayne is yet to comment on the incident.
A report by XXL confirms that 50 has now fired the entire audio team responsible for the irksome incident during one of the most crucial stops of his “Final Lap Tour”.
On the music side of things, Wayne dropped the second single from “Tha Carter VI” last week. Titled “Kat Food”, the single samples the iconic rap record “Work It” by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Missy Elliot.
As for 50, the legendary former G-Unit affiliate recently linked up with Nas on his 17th rap LP “Magic 2”. Cent’s rare verse arrives amidst his highly anticipated performance in India after 16 years.
Reportedly, the “In Da Club” rapper is slated to perform in Mumbai on November 25th this year.
