Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss Dead at 40

DJ Stephen Boss – popularly known as tWitch – has passed away at 40. Known for his riveting sets at the Ellen DeGeneres Show, the DJ committed suicide at a Los Angeles hotel.

tWitch had an exceptional career in American Television. He served as Ellen’s personal DJ in 2014 and went on to become the executive producer of the iconic show. Besides turning tables, he is remembered for his part in Gregory Jacobs-directed Magic Mike XXL alongside Channing Tatum and for his role as Jason in the Step Up series.

As per TMZ, tWitch passed away after receiving a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He is survived by his wife Allison and three kids Weslie, Maddox, and Zaia.

Ellen DeGeneres, the host of the show, earlier reacted to the young DJ’s death. “I’m heartbroken. tWitch was pure love and light. He was my family, and I loved him with all my heart. I will miss him. Please send your love and support to Allison and his beautiful children – Weslie, Maddox, and Zaia” DeGeneres tweeted.
