UK Rap Superstar Stormzy Releases Third Studio Album ‘This is What I Mean’

Norbury, London-based emcee and lyricist Stormzy – real name Michael Ebenezer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr. – has released his awaited third studio album This is What I Mean.

The twelve-track LP serves as the follow-up to the ‘Vossi Bop’ rapper’s Heavy Is The Head released almost three years ago. While his last studio album featured guest appearances from Aitch, Headie One, Ed Sheeran, H.E.R., Burna Boy & Yebba, Stormzy’s latest record is a one-man effort on the face of it.

Notably, Mel Made Me Do It – the track which was released just after the iconic emcee announced the LP – isn’t included on the record.

Clocking in at over ten minutes in visuals, Mel Made Me Do It showcased Stormzy’s flagrant confidence and his lavish living. The visuals featured appearances by Theroux, Trevor Nelson, Malorie Blackman, Tiana Major9, Usain Bolt, Little Simz and Dave.

Earlier this month, Stormzy teamed up with Sampha on “Firebabe” just ahead of the album.
