After teasing new music with Harjas Harjaayi, Babbu Cheema and Noor Tung earlier this week, The Kidd has released the visuals for ‘Benzo’. The music video begins with a tribute to the late Sidhu Moosewala – the legendary Punjabi emcee and lyricist who was shot dead in May this year.
The Kidd is one of the most sought-after producer in Indian hip-hop. With a massive discography which includes some of the biggest Indian hits of all time, Kidd – real name Gagandeep Singh – stands next to hip-hop production mavericks such as Byg Byrd, Snappy Beats and more. His extraordinary list of records include frequent collaborations with the late Sidhu Moosewala on ‘295’, ‘Moosedrilla’ featuring Divine, ‘Burberry’, ‘These Days’ featuring Bohemia, ‘Youngest In Charge’ and ‘Sidhu Son’. In fact, The Kidd had produced 21 records out of Moosewala’s third studio album ‘Moosetape’.
