The global pop superstar The Weeknd has previewed new music tied to the high anticipated motion picture ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’. The ‘After Hours’ singer took to his IG to confirm a December 16th release date.
The announcement has set massive waves across the globe since The Weeknd – real name Abel Tesfaye – is renowned for releasing some of the finest original motion picture scores including ‘Earned It’ and ‘Where You Belong’ for Sam Taylor Johnson-directed Fifty Shades of Grey and ‘Pray For Me’ alongside Kendrick Lamar for Ryan Coogler-directed ‘Black Panther’.
Notably this will be the second release by the iconic ‘Blinding Lights’ singer following the release of his fifth studio album ‘Dawn FM’. Recently, he featured on Metro Boomin’s Creepin’ alongside 21 Savage.
