On Wednesday, Young Stoner Life Records’ CEO Young Thug‘s private jail conversation with girlfriend Mariah The Scientist surfaced online. During the brief leaked conversation, Thugger and Mariah exchanged words of affection with the “Business is Business” rapper even assuring the R&B singer that he’ll be home soon.
While numerous avid rap listeners expressed their scathing criticism over their “invasion of privacy”, “For All The Dogs” rapper Drake went against the Chief Judge of Atlanta Ural Glanville over the serious “jail misconduct”.
“This gotta be some form of jail misconduct. You gonna drag this talented man then not be able to control your employees using his personal business for their own gain? Somebody benefitted from this video even existing and that’s shameful. The whole case is a wash just 3 the guy and let him come home and continue bringing light to Atlanta,” Drake said.
“S— is disgraceful…is this a criminal case or Atlanta social media promo Ural Glanville?” the rapper further said.

In November, Thug’s lawyer Brian Steel asserted that his lyricism results from the “environment he grew up in”.
“Yes, he speaks about ‘killing 12’ and people being shot and drugs and drive-by shootings,” Steel said, referring to Thug’s music which talks about threatening the police.
“This is the environment he grew up in. These are the people he knew, these are the stories he knew. These are the words he rhymed.”
“This is art,” Thug’s lawyer added further. “This is freedom of speech.”
On the music side of things, Young Thug recently featured on “american dream” LP by 21 Savage and “Insano” LP by Kid Cudi. Further, Thug is set to feature on Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign’s forthcoming joint album “Vultures”.
