It seems that the Astroworld rapper Travis Scott still dons the iconic Blackberry Porsche Design P’9981. The smartphone, which first came out in 2011 and was designed by Porsche Design, has been discontinued from January this year though.
The smartphone is in fact quite rare to find too. Covered in gold, just 25 units were produced for an exclusive clientele worldwide. A report by The Verge had speculated that the smartphone was perhaps used by Beyonce after Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, presented it to her and Jay-Z in 2012. An 8-piece set is available for purchase right now for as high as 24.8 Million Euros on James Edition.
On the music side of things, Travis looks better than ever. After the last year’s tragedy at his Astroworld Fest in Houston, Scott had halted the release of ‘Utopia’ – his fourth studio album and the follow-up to Astroworld. However, Travis is now back on stage after delivering a solid performance at the O2 Arena in London earlier this year and had headlined the Miami Grand Prix Event too.
Most recently, Scott was seen performing ‘Butterfly Effect’ at the 18th birthday of Lebron James’ son.
‘Utopia’ is expected to arrive later this year.
