After a brief hiatus from rap music, underground emcee The Siege, born Siegen Moopanar, and record producer Devoniàn have joined forces on a new flagrant single. Titled “CBSC”, the single is released via the coveted record label Def Jam Recordings India and marks Siege’s first rap record this year.
Notably, Siege’s latest single is part of an exclusive signing to Def Jam. The “Taadkefaad” rapper recently went on a livestream spree for nearly three months to gather enough financial support for his forthcoming music. However, Siege refrained from a crowdfunding campaign and manifested the “big move” with his manager.

For Def Jam Recordings India, Siege’s debut single arrives amidst a slew of flagrant releases this year.
Most recently, the Mumbai-based record label joined forces with breakthrough British emcee Sliime & producer Farooq Got Audio on the “Welcome To The Party” single. It was preceded by various top-tier releases including “Thehra” by Chaar Diwaari and “Midtown Madness” EP by Delhi’s fierce rapper Raga.
