The whole world went wild when it was revealed that Hip-Hop and Pop music icon Rihanna will headline the NFL Superbowl LVII 2023. Rightly so since it marked RiRi’s return to the stage after six long years. Last night, the global hitmaker performed some of her biggest hits at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona sporting a red ‘Anti-inspired’ jumpsuit.
Rihanna’s cinematic half-time show was attended by numerous rap and R&B superstars including Jay-Z, H.E.R., Nicki Minaj and RiRi’s boyfriend A$ap Rocky of course.
Ahead of her Superbowl Half-time performance, Rihanna spoke to the press about the long-awaited performance. “That’s what this show is gonna be—it’s gonna be a celebration of my catalog in the best way that we could’ve put it together. You’re trying to cram 17 years of work into 13 minutes, so it’s difficult. Some songs we have to lose because of that, and that’s gonna be okay, but I think we did a pretty good job of narrowing it down.” she said.
During her 13-minute epic performance, RiRi performed a slew of her biggest records including ‘B*tch Better Have My Money’, ‘Where Have You Been’, ‘Only Girl (In The World)’, ‘We Found Love’, ‘Rude Boy’, ‘Work’, ‘Wild Thoughts’, ‘Pour It Up’, ‘All Of The Lights’, ‘Run This Town’, ‘Umbrella’ and ‘Diamonds’.
