Wazir Patar Performs in Delhi Tomorrow

Punjabi Hip-Hop’s young superstar Wazir Patar is slated to perform in New Delhi tomorrow. The ‘Keep It Gangsta’ emcee will headline the city’s Code nightclub and perform some of his most influential projects from last year.

The live set follows the Majha side emcee’s consistent live sets last year. After joining hands with Divine at his ‘Gunehgar’ album launch concert in Mumbai, Patar performed a headlining set in Delhi alongside Emiway Bantai and joined Hip-Hop’s global superstar Offset and Kalamkaar’s bossman Raftaar & labelmate Kr$na for a riveting set in Bengaluru.

The performance comes amidst a solid anticipation for Patar’s next EP. The ‘notorious’ rapper took to Instagram yesterday to announce his plans for a new hard-hitting project in the works. As per Patar, the new EP is “on the way”.

Patar is one of the most prolific Punjabi Hip-Hop artists in the Indian rap scene and is behind influential rap records including ‘Keep It Gangsta’ EP with Def Jam Recordings India and a slew of hard-hitting tracks with Sidhu Moosewala including ‘The Last Ride’, ‘Malwa Block’ and ‘GOAT’. Patar rose to prominence with some of the most influential records in Hip-Hop early on in his career.

The young emcee’s breakthrough tracks including ‘Notorious’, ‘WAHZIRINTHEHOOD’ and more established his position as one of the best in the business.

Patar has an inborn ability to produce old-school rap tunes and pit them next to solid ghetto lyricism. Last year, Patar released the ‘Keep It Gangsta’ EP which featured timeless records including ‘Pind Da Riwaaz’, ‘One Way’ and ‘Tattoo’. The EP served as a pivotal moniker for Patar’s ability to deliver a deftly crafted studio record.
