Nigerian Afrobeats Icon Wizkid has released his fifth studio album ‘More Love, Less Ego’. Clocking at 41 minutes, the 13-track LP features guest appearances by UK’s legendary emcee Skepta on ‘Wow’, Ayra Starr on ‘2 Sugar’, Don Toliver on ‘Special’ and more. At first listen, the record stands out as universal and an unorthodox coming together of Afropop and Funk.
Wizkid – real name Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun – shot to global stardom after appearing alongside Drake on ‘One Dance’. The massive hit was the 12th track on Drake’s fourth studio album ‘Views’ and established Wizkid as an artist with a distinct voice in the Afropop scene.
