One of the most impactful modern emcees from Sweden, Yung Lean collaborated with Supreme New York for its latest Fall/Winter campaign 2022.
Yung Lean shot to massive stardom through YouTube at a time when rappers rarely blew up through the internet. He has been considered as one of the first rappers to do so by many. Back in 2013, Yung Lean released ‘Ginseng Strip 2002’ which had seemingly mixed modern rap and trap which resulted in a psychedelic-funk type production. The new genre has been termed as ‘Cloud Rap’ ever since.
The viral track was followed by ‘Kyoto’ where he elevated his stature from being a newcomer rookie to a full-fledged hit maker. The 26-year-old emcee has brought huge attention to Swedish hip-hop during his almost a decade old career.
As part of the fall/winter collection for Supreme New York, Yung Lean can be seen sporting track jackets, balaclava masks, baggy sweats, vintage Roman-inspired t-shirts, leather trench coats and the signature Supreme white-tee among others.
