Amidst high anticipation, Tamil Nadu’s fierce woman emcee Irfana Hameed, or Irfana, has finally released her sophomore single with Def Jam Recordings India. Titled “London Dry”, the single is produced by Zero Chill and arrives within days after the Kodaikanal-bred emcee shared the track preview on her Instagram.
“London Dry” serves as the follow-up to Irfana’s debut single with Def Jam Recordings India titled “Sheila Silk”.

Irfana’s latest single further pushes rising rap music from Southern India.
While Def Jam Recordings India has released two flagrant rap records – “Ayyayyo” and “Sambar” in the past few months, another coveted rap record label Mass Appeal India is gearing up for forthcoming music with Vedan, Dabzee and Baby Jean after signing the three rappers exclusively to its roster.
