Marquee British Punjabi emcee, record producer and songwriter Raf Saperra, born Adeel Sardar Khan, has just premiered a provocative short film “Tales of The Snake Charmer”. Directed by the “Snake Charmer” Raf himself, the film arrives just ahead of his forthcoming major label EP “5 Deadly Venomz” with Mass Appeal.
“During the summer of ’05 or ’06, Kiesha was a sket. Boys colour coordinated. “5 Day Pass” was a fiver. Jamie Oliver single-handedly bent over school dinners and f—– it in the a– whilst Grime music found its record distribution on the top deck, at the back seat… of your local London bus,” Saperra says amidst the affecting film.
Notably, Saperra’s “Tales of The Snake Charmer” is preceded by Saperra’s sincere homage to late New York emcee & influential East Coast rapper Big L. At the time, the “Ruff Around The Edges” singer and rapper remixed Gang Starr’s historic tribute record for Big L titled “Full Clip”.

Further, Saperra’s debut EP will traverse 5 East Coast Hip-Hop records – “Rolling Thunder” alongside Conway The Machine, “Hood Harvest” alongside Dave East & Big Body, the previously released lead single “Ranjha”, “Venomz Boliya” and “Off Endz”. The major label project is produced by Bobby Kang & Taj Aulakh.
