Breakthrough Punjabi emcee & songwriter Shubh, born Shubhneet Singh, has released his 6th massive rap record this year. Titled “MVP”, or Most Valuable Player”, the single was first previewed by the lethal “Safety Off” rapper amidst his sold-out Australia and New Zealand tour last week.
For Shubh, the hard-hitting single serves as the follow-up to “Bandana” – the trailblazing rapper’s debut single this year.
Across the top-tier rap record, Shubh addresses his unruly rise in Punjabi rap music and the scathing criticism, or hate, which has come with it.
The provocative single further serves as the first instance when the “Still Rollin” rapper breaks his silence over the last year’s “politically motivated hatred” through flagrant rap music.

Shubh is yet to premiere an exclusive visual cut for “MVP”.
Notably, Shubh’s massive single arrives within hours after another Canada-bred breakthrough Punjabi rapper Jerry releasing his debut album. Titled “RAW”, the album is home to 7 top-tier tracks – “One of One”, “Miami Flow”, “Pricey”, “Destiny”, “Alpha”, “Tease” and “Link Up”.
In other news, Punjabi emcee Parmish Verma has released his debut collaboration with Bohemia. Titled “True Flex”, the massive rap record arrives after a gruesome wait of nearly 13 years by the “Patiala Flow” rapper.
