Amidst high anticipation for Amazon Prime Video’s Drama series “Mirzapur Season 3”, Delhi-bred rapper and songwriter Raga has linked up with the video entertainment behemoth for its exclusive soundtrack.
Titled “Gandi Bimari”, the flagrant rap single is produced by Raga’s frequent collaborator and “GTA NCR” producer Wamp and marks the fierce rapper’s debut foray into commercial soundtracks.
Across the hard-hitting single, which samples John Stewart Eduri‘s lead theme for the series, Raga raps about vicious power struggles for Mirzapur’s high chair.
The single arrives alongside an evocative music video. Watch it below.
For Raga, the massive breakthrough arrives amidst a slew of top-tier releases this year.
Most recently, the “Kheench Maari” rapper linked up with King on “Baawe Mai Check”, DG Immortals on “Matha Garam” and Tracy De Sà on “Trash” singles.
The feature was preceded by Raga’s massive “Midtown Madness” EP featuring a verse by Indian rap pioneer & former Mafia Mundeer affiliate Ikka.
“Gandi Bimari” is yet to surface on streaming platforms.
