Punjabi emcee & songwriter AP Dhillon, born Amrit Pal Dhillon, has finally announced his massive three-city India tour.
The Toronto-bred rapper, who made a historic debut at this summer’s coveted Coachella Festival and appealed for imminent justice for Sidhu Moose Wala, will perform across Mumbai, Delhi and Chandigarh in support of his recent EP “The Brownprint”.
With his forthcoming performances in December, the “Problems Over Peace” rapper now joins Punjabi rap & pop superstars Karan Aujla and Diljit Dosanjh. As reported earlier, “Geetan Di Machine” and the “Muhammad Ali” rapper will perform massive live sets in India as part of their “It Was All A Dream” and “Dil-Luminati” world tours.
For Dhillon’s ardent fans, the tour announcement arrives amidst sincere safety concerns.
Earlier this month, Dhillon’s Toronto residence was shot at in a shocking firing by masked affiliates of infamous gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The incarcerated prime accused in Moosa’s murder, as part of a “planned drive-by shooting” alongside Goldy Brar, has claimed responsibility for the violence.
In March last year, Punjabi rap superstar Shubh was “forced” to cancel his 2-month-long “Still Rollin” tour in India. At the time, Dhillon, Aujla and Moosa’s parents expressed their concerns over “politically motivated hate” against the “Bandana” rapper.
