Indian Hip-Hop’s influential emcee Aghor, born Sanchit Kumar, has announced his debut rap record with Def Jam Recordings India. Titled “Mitra Di party”, Aghor has confirmed that the single is slated to release on March 28th 2023 alongside an exclusive visual treatment. Recognised for his ferocious gnarls, groovy lyrical prowess and immersive auto-tunes, Aghor is one of the finest emcees in India. Serving as a prominent member of the Delhi-based Hip-Hop supergroup “Thug Sangathan” alongside Indian Hip-Hop’s legendary emcee Ikka, Aghor has made an affecting name for himself in India’s burgeoning rap scene.
Aghor’s brief yet impactful discography includes numerous top-selling Hip-Hop records including a guest verse on Ikka’s “Sanki” alongside Seedhe Maut and Raga, “Batman” feat. Kalamkaar’s Hip-Hop royalty Kr$na, “Sookha”, “Changa” and more.
Notably, the single arrives within weeks after Def Jam Recordings India linked up with Paradox for “Perfy”. Serving as the lead single to his upcoming “The Unknown Letter” EP, Paradox has built unanticipated hype for the upcoming project.
