Ahead of ‘Multani Mitti’ Mixtape With Boyblanck, DRV Links Up With Bombay The Artist & Reverse Prodigy on ‘Ye Sama’ Single

As anticipation for DRV’s debut joint mixtape with Boyblanck “Multani Mitti” grows higher, the Delhi-bred trap emcee and record producer has premiered a new single. Titled “Ye Sama”, the record features guest vocals by Bombay The Artist and is produced by Reverse Prodigy.

The single, which now serves as the follow-up to DRV’s recent single “tere saath (i feel good)”, is a distinct departure from his sound and forays into UK Garage-influenced Drum & Bass.

Whether DRV is hinting at the forthcoming sound of his mixtape with Boyblanck through these records remains to be seen. However, the singles might just pave the way for the long-awaited “Multani Mitti” mixtape.

In May this year, the rapper and record producer linked up with BB on “Zameen Se”. As per DRV, that record is the lead single to the collaborative mixtape. However, both the artists have been quite private about their project ever since.

While DRV is yet to drop a music video, if any, to “Ye Sama”, the rapper has premiered incendiary back-to-back visual treatments this year.

Most recently, DRV linked up with underground rapper FlyBoy S on “Teachers” and dropped the “Coochie Wet” music video from “Nakshatra” LP too.
