Amidst high anticipation for his forthcoming debut EP “5 Deadly Venomz” with Mass Appeal, British emcee Raf Saperra, born Adeel Sardar Khan, has paid homage to late New York emcee Big L.

The legendary rapper and record producer, considered one of the most influential Hip-Hop artists from the East Coast, is recognized for iconic rap records including “Lifestylez ov da Poor & Dangerous” and numerous posthumous releases such as “The Big Picture”, “139 & Lenox”, “Return Of The Devil’s Son” studio albums.

Saperra, who was himself close to another slain emcee and Indian rap provocateur Sidhu Moose Wala, paid his homage to Big L by remixing Gang Starr’s historic tribute record for the East Coast rapper “Full Clip”.

The iconic American group, spearheaded by rap pioneers DJ Premier and Guru, released the single soon after L’s infamous killing in Harlem.

Notably, the remix arrives as part of a larger visual cut shared by Saperra which features numerous East Coast beats. Earlier this week, Saperra asserted that his forthcoming EP “5 Deadly Venomz” is a “love letter to underground East Coast Hip-Hop & Punjabi Folk music”.

Set to release on March 8th, Saperra’s forthcoming project will arrive through Nas’ marquee record label Mass Appeal India and feature 5 tracks. First announced by Saperra in November last year, the EP will feature a guest verse by Harlem’s fierce East Coast emcee and Nas’ prodigy Dave East.

Reportedly, “5 Deadly Venomz” is produced by Saperra’s frequent collaborators Taj Aulakh & Bobby Kang.
