Amidst high anticipation for his forthcoming single “Morni”, Indian rap superstar Badshah has teased his debut collaboration with British Nigerian emcee Davido.
The Lagos-bred singer, recognised for various top-tier dancehall & Afropop tracks including “Shopping Spree” featuring Young Thug & Chris Brown, “Holy Ground” with Nicki Minaj, “So Crazy” featuring Lil Baby, “No Competition” featuring Asake and more, linked up with the “Jagga Jatt” rapper in Dubai and allegedly worked on his forthcoming single.
Badshah & Davido are yet to share any further details about the alleged single.
Last summer, Badshah’s former Mafia Mundeer affiliate Ikka teased the “Talibans” remix with another British Nigerian royalty Byron Messia.
At the time, the breakthrough dancehall record was remixed by Burna Boy who later joined forces with slain Punjabi emcee Sidhu Moose Wala on his posthumous single “Mera Na”.

Last month, Badshah surpassed revered global rapstars Jay-Z, Kanye West, Lil Baby, Future, Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert, 50 Cent and A$ap Rocky on Spotify’s list of most followed rap artists worldwide.
Considering Badshah’s unprecedented rise in prominence, a collaboration with Davido does not seem far-fetched.
