Legendary rapper and songwriter Lil Wayne, born Dwayne Carter, has released the shocking prelude mixtape to his forthcoming 13th studio album “Tha Carter VI”. Aptly titled “Tha Fix Before Tha VI”, Tunechi’s latest mixtape album is home to 10 brand new rap records.
Produced by Murda Beats, ManOhManFoster, Charlie Handsome, FNZ, Julian Munro, Swede, Wheezy & more, the 10-track mixtape features guest vocals from Grammy-winning artist Jon Batiste, Britanny Fousheé and Young Money Entertainment’s Euro.
With the release of “Tha Fix Before Tha VI”, Wayne is now gearing up for two more albums this year – The long-awaited “Tha Carter VI” & “COLLEGROVE 2” LP with 2 Chainz.

As reported earlier, “Tha Fix Before Tha VI” mixtape is home to provocative song titles including the mixtape’s lead single “Kat Food”, “Act Up”, “Birds”, “Slip”, “Tuxedo”, “To The Bank”, “Chanel No. 1”, “No New Bitches”, “Tity Boy” and “Good Morning”.
Recently, Lil Wayne linked up with New York’s legendary rapper and Mass Appeal’s founder Nas on “Magic 3” LP. Further, YG & TYGA recruited Lil Wayne on “Brand New” single from their debut joint LP “Hit Me When U Leave The Klub”.
