Breaking: Punjabi Hip-Hop Superstar Karan Aujla Announces New Album ‘Making Memories’, Releases August 18th

Punjabi Hip-Hop superstar Karan Aujla, real name Jaskaran Singh Aujla, has finally announced his highly anticipated rap album “Making Memories”. Executive-produced by Punjabi rap superproducer Ikky, the album is slated to release on August 18th.

Aujla, who has been teasing the record since March, has finally confirmed his project while flexing his unprecedented rap life in Italy. The announcement arrives within hours after Aujla confirmed that “Making Memories” has been “mixed and mastered, music videos shot” and arrives “real soon”.

The rapper and pop singer, Karan Aujla, recently forayed into the flagrant world of motorsports and linked up with Alfa Romeo Team Stake’s marquee drivers Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu for an alleged music video from the project.

Aujla’s last record “Four You” aptly featured four glorious visual treatments directed by Qarn Mallhi.

Aujla’s announcement has led to Punjabi rap listeners storming his social media. While the Punjabi emcee has shared the album’s exclusive artwork and release date, he is yet to share the tracklist and perhaps, guest verses on the album.

This isn’t the first time that Aujla and Ikky will be teaming up for incendiary rap music. In fact, “Making Memories” will serve as the follow-up to Aujla’s “Four You” EP.

As reported earlier, the Ikky-produced project featured Aujla’s three incendiary Punjabi rap records – “52 Bars, “Yeah Naah” and “Take It Easy” alongside an immersive pop record “Fallin Apart”.

In fact, Aujla has been navigating his rap career with unprecedented suave. Besides the “Four You” EP, Aujla teamed up with Indian Hip-Hop superstar Badshah on “Players”. It was preceded by Aujla’s ruthless rap record “On Top”.

Most recently, Aujla linked up with his frequent collaborator and another Punjabi rap superproducer Yeah Proof on “P.O.V.”

As reported earlier, whether the hard-hitting rap record will feature on Aujla’s upcoming album remains to be seen. However, since Aujla has confirmed that this would rather be a joint album with Ikky, fans can expect fresh records from “Geetan Di Machine”.

Karan Aujla’s album arrives amidst a slew of ruthless Punjabi Hip-Hop records. After Aujla’s unprecedented rollout of “Four You” EP, Punjabi Hip-Hop superstars Gurinder Gill and Shubh released their debut albums “Hard Choices” and “Still Rollin”.

Further, Sidhu Moose Wala, who once had an infamous beef with Aujla during the earliest days of each other’s sprawling rap careers, and Indian Hip-Hop royalty Divine linked up on “Chorni”. AP Dhillon and Shinda Kahlon linked up for their crucial return to Hip-Hop on the “True Stories” single too.
