Amidst rising tensions with Indian rap mogul Badshah, Punjabi emcee Yo Yo Honey Singh linked up with “God Damn” singer Karan Aujla in Abu Dhabi. The global rap provocateurs, who released their top-tier projects “Glory” and “Four Me” earlier this year, joined forces at the International Indian Academy Awards, or IIFA, during a coveted ceremony and exchanged words.
Notably, this is the first time that the “Gaddi Shookdi” rapper and Aujla, who is gearing up for his forthcoming arena tour across India, were spotted together. Their link-up has left fans divided over the scathing decade-long tussle between Honey Singh and Badshah.
Reportedly, the “Jagga Jatt” emcee was in attendance at the coveted award ceremony too. However, Badshah and Aujla did not meet each other in Abu Dhabi.
Besides sharing space with Yo Yo Honey Singh, Aujla took home the “Trendsetter of The Year” award for his unprecedented contribution to Punjabi music across the globe.
In other news, Punjabi emcee AP Dhillon has announced his massive three-city India tour. The forthcoming tour, in support of Dhillon’s “The Brownprint” EP, arrives alongside Punjabi rap & pop superstar Diljit Dosanjh gearing up for arena shows across India this year.
As reported earlier, the “Muhammad Ali” rapper will fill stadiums and auditoriums across India as part of his massive “Dil-Luminati” world tours.
