Indian trap pioneers DRV and Boyblanck have begun the rollout of their highly anticipated mixtape album “Multani Mitti”. The record arrives after the “Nakshatra” emcee confirmed that two trap records with Boyblanck are slated to drop this month.
While the hard-hitting trapstar linked up with Boyblanck on “Desktop”, the rappers have confirmed that the lead record “Zameen Se” drops on May 26. Ahead of the official release, DRV and the Boy shared an exclusive preview of the WXVE-produced record. Check it out here.
As reported earlier, this has been an extraordinary year for DRV.
Besides “First Time”, DRV released his hit single “Farak Nahi Padta” in March. With assistance from Sachin Jigar and Nikhil Paul George, the notorious passive-aggressive record serves as the lead single for Amazon’s original series “Farzi” starring Indian cinema superstars including Kapoor, Kay Kay Menon and Vijay Sethupati.
DRV’s feature in Amazon’s Original Series breathed a new life into Indian Hip-Hop’s burgeoning underground scene. It was preceded by his single “Empty” which featured on Netflix’s “Class” and was originally released in June 2020 alongside Loka and Aakash.
