Indian rap superstar Kr$na, born Krishna Kaul, and breakthrough Japanese emcee and songwriter ¥ellow Bucks are set to perform in Tokyo, Japan. The rappers, who will further join forces with rising South Asian emcees and singers including Issei Uno Fifth, Eyden, Villshana, Redeye & more, will perform at at the Zouk club in Tokyo.

Notably, the massive announcement arrives within days after Kr$na linked up with Karachi’s superproducer Umair on flagrant drill single “Joota Japani”. Released in January, the single sampled a historic composition from Hindi cinema and was released alongside a top-tier visual treatment shot in Tokyo.

Reportedly, Kr$na, Uno Fifth & various artists will perform as part of “The Playcode Block Party” on March 21, 2024.

Check out the line-up of artists below.

For Kr$na, the massive live set arrives amidst back-to-back major performances by the rapper in the past few months.

While Kr$na shut down the “Great Indian Sneaker Festival” alongside legendary Indian emcee Divine and “Hola Amigo” rappers Seedhe Maut in December, he sat down for an exclusive chat with Prabh Deep and performed with the “Khatta Flow” emcees at last year’s Boiler Room in Mumbai and Delhi.

In other news, Afrofusion & Dancehall singer Burna Boy remembered “his brother” and legendary Indian emcee Sidhu Moose Wala at his sold-out performance in Toronto, Canada.
